Activities

Activities & Events are the vehicle we use to deliver impact to our membership, subscribers and community. 

 

C.O.R.K activities are always aligned to one or more of our purposes: 1) building opportunities, 2) sharing and spreading knowledge, 3) philanthropy and/or 4) spiritual support for our members.  ​

 

Our interactions are arranged into domains, depicted in the chart below.  

• Membership:  Activities and knowledge available only to members of C.O.R.K.

• Investors:  Investment vehicles are made available in two categories

  • Organizational investment: "Shares" in the organization can be made available to the general public.  Returns, including dividends, will be distributed based on the results of economic projects returns from the previous fiscal year and distributed as appropriate.​

  • Project investment: Individual economic development projects can offer opportunities for investment from external projects based on the scope and operation of the project.  Said projects will be evaluated based on returns in a fiscal year and dividends distributed based on investment/ownership percentages, as appropriate.

• Subscriptions:  Subscriptions are fee-based interactions to deliver information, knowledge and awareness to individuals or organizations.  The subscriptions entitle the purchaser to detailed and valuable services from C.O.R.K. and its members

• Community: Educational activities and information provided in this domain is always available to the general public.  All activities in this domain are free of charge and can be delivered in a variety of different formats.  ​​
